--- Comment #2 from Clarc <f.tha...@posteo.net> --- (In reply to Albert Astals Cid from comment #1) > does it work if you open from inside okular using File->Open? Sorry for not being clear enough. Here's what works and what doesn't. Tabs get used when: - Using File -> Open - Using File -> Open Recent - Marking two documents at the same time in your file-explorer and then hitting ENTER However! The most used way of opening documents (at least for me and the people i know) doesn't use tabs: 1. Double-click file_a.pdf in your file-explorer 2. Ocular opens it 3. Double-click file_b.pdf in your file-explorer 4. Ocular opens file_b.pdf in a second window, instead of using a second tab. This is what I meant. > does it work if you open using the terminal i.e. okular filea.pdf and then > okular fileb.pdf? I tried, but that command doesn't seem to do anything. I installed the flatpak/flathub-version of Okular, which might mean i need to use another command. I don't know what to write instead though, as I am not that experienced with Linux yet. I tried "flatpak okular filea.pdf", but it didn't work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
