Hello,

I have been a KDE user for the last 3 years and have experienced coding with Qt
too, especially QML. I was interested in participating in Google Summer of Code
under KDE and thus I started looking at KDE ideas page for GSoC and saw Okular
listed there.

I am guessing stamp handling might be an important feature to the project and
the community but recently I had idea for another great feature almost missing
from the app - "Ability to verify or sign a Digital Signature for PDF files".

I recently faced this issue and had to use Windows for using Adobe Reader to
verify my documents since no good implementation exist on Linux thus far. What
I am not sure about is whether there is no interest in working on this feature
from the community or is there some kind of limitation to not have it yet
implemented. If this feature is possible to be implemented, I would like to
spend my summers working on it.

I am really really interested in contributing to the KDE community, if I get
the chance to participate from GSoC or not. Please revert to this email and
suggest if that idea is good and can be implemented or not.

Thanks and Regards
Vivek Vaishya
