It’s great that the new OL version will have a merge function, but a delete function (at least for registered users) would be even greater. There are a lot of false and irritating records that can’t be merged. Take for example:
http://openlibrary.org/b/OL20965294M/TRANSCENDENCE_FROM_WITHIN A “book title” and the family name of an author. That’s all. Not much, but enough to make mistakes. There has never been a book with this title; it’s just a chapter of a book and of cause a family name can’t be merged with one author.
