Maybe because a search for "Lyngiades" in Open Library yields no hits?
This leads to the impression (whether justified or not) that an OL entry
is needed.

If you follow the "Add a book" link, you are not offered an import
option. How would this actually be done?

More generally, I'm interested in getting bibliographic information as
Linked Data, and wondering how this can be achieved, starting from where
we are now.

If LoC has a persistent URL for a work (which in this case they do), and
if it were to be delivered as Linked Data (which it isn't, yet), then
what would be the attitude to this resource from the point of view of
Open Library? Would there need to be a separate OL record, and if so in
what ways would it differ?
