Hi Alan, Apologies - I've had this email open on my desktop since I received it. Not exactly an efficient To Do list!

I see you found our http://openlibrary.org/about/lib page. Thanks for the edit. We are ably assisted by Karen Coyle, who wrote a guide doc for us about how to merge works here: http://kcoyle.net/merge.html Bear in mind that's a few years old, but it's definitely the basis for what WorkBot does. > I cleaned up a number of titles. A common example of this is works which are the same but have been catalogued with titles in different languages. > If I knew what workbot is looking for, I could probably at > least edit the right things to get it to merge them, right? Hmm... Maybe. See what you think of Karen's docs. You'll see it keys very strongly off either LCCN, ISBN or a normalized version of the title. Even though WorkBot is amazingly good for what it is, I still look forward to providing a tool to help out visually with this. Thank you for all your contributions so far, Alan!
