> It doesn't look to me like this page represents a section of a book. > It says: "This is a preview of a concept contained in The Personal MBA > by Josh Kaufman..." Note the word *concept*. Is this what you intended > to show?
Yes, I'm intending to state that is an actual logical section inside the book. In another book (or with another author), these sections might be called mini-chapters, or even essays. The book is itself like a compendium of these sections, with some matter that ties it all together. Here is the section of the printed work so you can see it for yourself: Viewable page in google books: http://books.google.com/books?id=_DZ_AMDl5yUC&lpg=PP1&dq=personal+mba&pg=PT164#v=onepage&q&f=false Hypothetical global URL: http://openbookmarks.com/works/OL24438887M/bootstrapping/ The author calls each logical section a "concept" -- but that is the author's choice. Another example would be like: Viewable page segment in google books: http://books.google.com/books?ei=6eBJTZLaC4a0sAPE2eClCg&ct=result&id=vspQAAAAYAAJ&dq=after+the+gold+rush&q=scaling+up+and+scaling+down#search_anchor Hypothetical global URL: http://openbookmarks.com/works/OL7890684M/5/scaling-up-and-scaling-down/ The "Scaling Up and Scaling Down" segment is really a few paragraphs of text with that subheading, and is part of chapter 5. NOTE: I used part of Open Library's URL space for lack of any better global book identifier. Now I'll really go take this conversation over to the other list, unless anyone thinks it's relevant to this list. BTW, it would really help to have this list's archive published so I could tell as a new member whether this feels relevant or not.
