Hi,

at the Central University Library of Cologne, Germany, we provide a
searchable catalogue of all digitized items of OL via a given ocaid.

http://kug.ub.uni-koeln.de/portal/lastverteilung?view=openlibrary;l=en

As all encrypted DAISY files can't be viewed by non-US residents we
tried to filter them based on the 'Protected DAISY' subject at the
works level. Unfortunately there are still quite a lot protected DAISY
items left with no corresponding subject entry, eg.

http://openlibrary.org/books/OL24605377M/The_happiness_advantage
http://openlibrary.org/works/OL15674042W/The_happiness_advantage

Obviously OL 'knows' about this item being protected DAISY, but how
can I identify it, eg from the data dumps at

http://openlibrary.org/data#bulk_download

or the API (although dumps are preferred)

A possible solution would be to 'automagically' generate the 'Protected DAISY'
subjects for the corresponding items at the OL.

Apart from the possibility to identify the DAISY format on the subject
level it would be great to incorporate all available digitized formats
(EPUB, PDF, DJVU etc.) in the OL-dataset, so you can offer a faceted
search on the available formats.

More Information (in german only, sorry ;-) on the OL-integration in
our discovery portal is available in this blog-entry:

Regards,
