The head of Sweden's national library (Royal library) has declared that the national union catalog (Libris) and authority files are freely available without any claims of copyright, or cc0.
http://librisbloggen.kb.se/2011/09/21/swedish-national-bibliography-and-authority-data-released-with-open-license/ In practice, there have never been any claims to copyright, the Libris website works fine, and is widely used by LibraryThing, Wikipedia and other services. The new thing is the explicit cc0 (Creative Commons zero) declaration. -- Lars Aronsson ([email protected]) Aronsson Datateknik - http://aronsson.se _______________________________________________ Ol-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.archive.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/ol-discuss To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send email to [email protected]
