Yes, that's a surprisingly bad OCR quality. When I look at the logs, http://www.archive.org/catalog.php?history=1&identifier=ZurOntogenieDerKnochenfische the OCR job log file says: "Setting OCR language to English", http://www.us.archive.org/log_show.php?task_id=92968594 And this is clearly an error. Did you set German when you uploaded the file? I think you can resubmit for new OCR after you update the language.
