I agree. So in my personal opinion, OL should allow multiple 
series/collection/grouping items, preferably at both the edition and work 
levels.  

Instead of a "literary series" field and a "book edition series" field and so 
on, it can be an open-ended list just like the contributors list (editors, 
illustrators, etc.)

The entries could have a type field (similar to contributors), indicating the 
kind of series or grouping.  That way we can represent all forms of series, and 
if someone wants to distinguish types they can.
