I have been hanging out here for about 3 months now and trying to figure
out how things work. I'm particularly interested in cleaning up the
American Civil War titles which number about 30,000 with little in the way
of covers or descriptions.

I'm not particularly interested in writing yet another robot although I
have dones some things in working with these 30,000 titles categorizing
them into lists by state, unit of service, battles, regimental histories,
etc, which would lend itself well to "Lists" but I'm not wanting to build
the lists on OL by hand and the list management functioality seems to be
minimal at present.

There appears to be about 30 or 40 people who are continuously working on
lists of one topic or another and have built lists which are well beyond
the casual "my book list" kind of thing, but I have found no way to
communicate or corroborate with them.
