Finally, the author RDF/XML has gone live. Of course, comments and corrections are still welcome!
I was interested in seeing how the output rendered as triples, and used Rapper to triple-ize the XML. That gives me an error on the foaf:Image lines: "rdf:about is forbidden as a property attribute." However, the foaf examples show: <foaf:Image rdf:about="http://rdfweb.org/people/danbri/mugshot/danbri-small.jpeg"/> So I will assume this is an error on Rapper's part unless someone can enlighten me on the cause. I think the edition RDF is in decent shape, although again I will test it as triples. So the remaining task is Works, which will have to wait until after ALA. (The American Library Association yearly meeting starts Thursday and goes into next week.) If any of you are at ALA and can join us, on Friday a.m. from 9-noon we will meet at the Hyatt Capitol Hill (NOT the Hyatt nearest the convention center, but the one that is out of the way, of course) in Regency A for an impromptu unconference where we will try to hack away at some of the problems facing us in creating linked data in libraries. Even if you aren't attending the conference, come on over. No one will be checking attendance or badges. -- Karen Coyle [email protected] http://kcoyle.net ph: 1-510-540-7596 m: 1-510-435-8234 skype: kcoylenet _______________________________________________ Ol-tech mailing list [email protected] http://mail.archive.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/ol-tech To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send email to [email protected]
