Hi all, I have some questions about what happens when works are merged (or any sort of change -- deletions, etc.).
When two works are merged (such as from WorkBot: http://openlibrary.org/recentchanges.json?limit=100&bots=true&author=/people/WorkBot), what exactly happens? Does it create a new work from the 2 (or more?) old works? Does it choose one? What happens to the merged Work ids? Is there a way to track the changes to the Work identifiers? The API only seems to show the edition ids.
