Hi Alvaro, Looks like you misinterpret the index file. The index file contains filename, offset in the tar file and size for each file in tar file. The filename for coverid 14211 will be 0000014211.jpg and that will be in covers_0000_01.tar.
If you want to look at the mapping file, the mapping file is at http://www.archive.org/download/ol_dump_2011-03-31/ol_dump_coverids_2011-03-31.txt.gz It has 4 columns ID-Name, ID-Value, OL-KEY and CoverID.
