I use the full text search all the time. It often times out, and the search appears to insert an OR between each search term, resulting in thousands of results.
But I've been able to use it to find material in the collection I would otherwise have missed. It would be great if this resource could be improved. My scanning project is up to 1,300 volumes and searching within individual books doesn't scale beyond a dozen books at a time.
