I'm sure others on the list will give you a more concrete opinion but my general feeling is that Openlibrary is more designed to run as a service (on openlibrary.org) rather than as a web app inside an intranet. If you are interested in a library management tool, I would urge you to look at Koha http://koha-community.org/.
