I am trying to set up a library on my organization's website, consisting of a bunch of eBooks. I am using Open Library because of its push to Kindle functionality. I have the setup figured out, now I'm trying to figure out functionality on our end. (I was directed to this listserv by someone working for the website.)
1. Is there an Open Library dynamic "widget" of some sort that I can post for each book? (Would include the cover, some book info, and a link to access the ePub, Mobi, and PDF files.) If there's code but no graphics to go with it, that would be fine. 2. If that doesn't exist, does the "send to Kindle" link on the book page ever change? (This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/digital/fiona/web-to-kindle?clientid=###&itemid=###&docid=### ) If not, I'll just build the library as a static page (crediting Open Library, of course). If it does though, that makes things more complicated. Linking the user to Open Library to access the book would work, but it's more clicks (and chances for confusion) than preferable. Our readership is fairly tech-illiterate, to be honest, which is why side-loading is not a good option. 3. Any better ideas? Thanks, I appreciate the help! - Matt
