The display is a little confusing because in the case of a single edition
work, you get a kind of a hybrid display which includes both work and
edition data, but if you look closely, you should see two different title
fields, for example. Work information which doesn't fit on the edition tab
("JACOB DYBWAD EDITION, 1939" in your case), can be found on the "What's it
About?" tab. This includes the work description in your example. Also,
some information included in the display may be hidden in "Librarian mode"
(the series info in your example).

Another potential issue is that if you edited a workless edition (see
details below) and a work record was created for you on the fly, I think
you can end up with stale cached data. A hard refresh in your browser may
help in this case.

All editions should be connected to a work. Those that aren't are due to
bugs in the import process, but they'll have a work record created and
connected automatically if you edit the edition. At least that's my recent
experience, but it didn't always work that way. Arguably the correct thing
to do would be to go through all work-less editions and create works for
them in a batch and just rely on the fixup mechanism for any strays that
are encountered.
