After much consternation (I think that's a word) I've decided to convert to
12V. Didn't want to but with a freshly rebuilt engine, 12v cranks it so much
faster - so much easier to start. I've read all the how-to links and I think I
have everything under the hood figured out. Question is for both the 6v radio
and 6v fresh air heater. I've been told that I need to find a reducer for the
radio that ultimately puts out about 6amps at 6v. Not sure what the heater
needs? Where is the best place to get these type reducers. BTW, planning on
using a 12v generator to try and keep an original look. Thanks for all the
help.
