Hey Nick Just for conversations sake, did you shim up your rad support any? I just got finished installing the hood on my'50 and I shimmed the radiator support about 1/8" and then used a floor jack to "gently" raise the back of the fenders. Tightened all bolts while the fender was in the up position and it turned out looking very nice - not perfect - but very nice. Ken
