Why in the H*** would you want to do that?????? On mine the filter housing is
heavy aluminum and mounts to intake, has metal tubes and hose ends to connect.
One went bad, and I used pipe fittings at each end and had Hydraulic hose make
up to fit. Filters are easy to find. What's the problem with yours, you don't
wish to use? Trying to drive that high pressure thru that little hose and
filter of the old style is gonna cause troubles like maybe bypassing the filter
all together, just like it was plugged. the ports for the bypass type are the
same place as high pressure, just that later ones are BIGGER, to allow free
flow.
IMHO....you're Nuts!

Hi Guys, Please help me. I have removed the full flow filter from my 261 and
wanna replace it with a bypass filter. The question is, where do I make the
connections to the engine? I know about connecting together the two ports from
the full flow. Thanks, Bruce
