I have a complete automatic transmission (I believe Powerglide) that came
connected to the 261 I picked up earlier this year. I am not planning on using
the auto trans so it is available. Clean looking package, I believe the 261 is
1955 and came out of a large truck. Seller claimed to have driven the truck
with this trans from Oregon down to Central California where the transmission
and I are located. He claimed it worked well – I have no idea of the condition
except that is looks very clean on the outside.

PM if interested.

Regards,
Bob

It’s a 1951 powerglide and goes behind a splasher 235 engine

Off topic but related. Anybody know where I might look for a good case for a
cast iron Powerglide? 1951 vintage.

Thanks,
