Kewl. I will pay you for your time to send me photos of that text.

I usually go by the FACTORY literature- Chassis Service Manuals, advertising, Engine and Car Assembly Manual, Part number manuals, etc. They generally refer to the option as simply "OAI," but on the rare instance that it is is spelled out, it is Outside Air INDUCTION.

Yes, I am certain.... notice please my moniker, and when you go to the FAQ files on 442.com for Olds Info, notice who 'wrote the book' on engine parts. I also own two 1968 W30's, which of course came with the OAI package.

Now, there is the A.I.R. system, commonly known as the 'smog pump' - that is a TLA for Air INJECTION reaction- which has NOTHING to do with Water Pump selection. Whereas, the cars with OAI were the hottest of the hot rods, and therefore got the HD cooling system, Y72, just like of course AC equipped cars. I guess we need to add this tidbit to the FAQ files, to dispel yet another pc of Olds misinformation.

In short, yeah, I guess I am sure I know what I am talking about... and you can believe me.

Cash via PayPal or MO in the mail if you send me photos of anyone's literature stating "Outside Air INJECTION"

Include please photos of the erroneous text itself, the cover of the book or whatnot, and the address/ name of the company that is responsible. Then we can assemble an errata list to warn others that not everything they see in print is Gospel.

Thanks.
