So youres is a 462 instead of a 442.
Look at the 77 442,  a 3.8 l was the base engine, auto trans and  no dual
exhaust.

Come on guys, quit splitting hairs. The '66 442 base option was a 4 barrel. 
The 3x2 (6 barrel) was an add-on option to the '66 442 and was very limited.

In '67, the 3x2 package wasn't even an option and was only available from 
the Olds parts dept. and for dealer add-on. It doesn't count against all of 
the thousands of 4 barrel 442s built and sold.
