from what i got it already had the peformance suspension, but the main reasoning for the 2 speed is this you could wind it up and only shift once.. alot of the chevy guys run them now.
the car was ordered this way for insurence reason's i believe. i cant get straight answers because the present owner dont know. what i did see under the car is the rear control braces that bolt in. they look as crusty as the rest of the suspension. and i thought they were used in prior years.
i have the engine all psi washed and cleaned up like the engine bay. intake is off and so is oil pan. to be resealed and repainted.
some weird looking relay mounted to rt fender that runs to a/c comp. and lots of other things out of place. it was converted to integral regular altanator.
i see what the problem with histach was . some one tried to fix it and cooked the board in there, the gauge pack is missing some pins. so they will be sent out for repair.
the owner of the car asked me today if i was the 69 olds police. i laughed and just said no i'm nosey. he laughed. i now have his brothers 72 cutlass in the shop for trans rebuild. it looked so nice today. my 77 cutlass out front and 2 oldsmobiles inside. we even had a few chevy and ford guys i know stop in to see what we were doing. i explained i was offered a partnership in a exsisting buisness and till it takes off to where i can relocate myself perminatly i do this on weekend's. including sunday's if need be. he asked for cards and said he would pass it along we work on classic's and treat them like there own.
monday night i have 69 ss chevelle to do brakes on. bb chevy 4 speed car, not a olds but nice
