Subject: new best 1/4 mile time 371

Hello
I got past first round today easy :).
Did a [EMAIL PROTECTED] in my 4100 pnder tanker.
The dyno guy said i could jet down a bit, before it got hot in summer.
I jetted the center down a bit but not the ends yet, figured i would try her. I got stuck in the lanes due to a clean up on track at thermo 190 temp..kept a high idle up(movin water and oil.
But the carbs were fer sure up to temp even with the heat spacers.
I could feel it when we went down the track and ran a 15.7 number and lost in second round:(.
She ran 15.3s-- 4 passes earlier till the higher temp thing.
I will jet down the ends as instructed.
Wondering if my timing(or lack of a good curve)has anything to do with it?
Outside air temps were not hot.
Randy H.
