Scott, Have you done any Dynamic Compression Ration calculations for your anticipated engine build? The Dynamic Compression Ratio will tell you effectively how much cylinder pressure you have for the bore, stroke, static compression ratio, and the particular camshaft timing parameters you are using ***while the engine is running***. This is one area that people often overlook, but using this tool you can make sure that you don't end up with either detonation from too high cylinder pressure or lack of performance from too low cylinder pressure.
