I am looking for a part off a 67 Cutlass front bench seat w/ armrest. I
need the frame for the driver's side seatback, along with the seatback
latch that attaches to it. When I got the car, I had the bench, the
passenger side back, and the armrests; all nicely reupholstered. I have
the loose fabric for the driver's side back, but no frame to sew it
around.
Odd request, I am sure. Due to shipping costs (and costs of whole seats),
I can't buy someone's "this is my perfectly good bench seat from when I
did my buckets conversion that I want $300 for" seat. I'm looking for
someone with some random pieces, or a whole seat with the fabric so far
gone that they don't mind parting it out. I just need that frame and
latch.
So, help my Olds escape the garage soon by getting me THE last part I need
(not including random nuts and bolts...if anyone has the bolts that hold
the seat together and to the floor as well, I'll gladly take them, too) to
make the car complete again. I can link to pictures of my garage-confined
Olds if need be ( like the "Help this Child" posters)
