Dexron or Royal Purple Trans Fluid

I'll be changing my trans fluid in my TH350 soon, it was rebuilt 2 years ago and a shift kit and high stall converter added. The shop that rebuilt the trans added Dexron in it, my thoughts would it hurt anything or cause premature problems with the trans if I changed over to Royal Purple Synthetic, I emailed The reps at Royal Purple and they told me it would not cause any problems, now with this in mind since it's their product they will tell me that, my question to the Olds guys would or has anyone used this product and would you advised this changeover?   Greg 1972 Cutlass Supreme
