The leak is right there at the pump and thankfully not back at the cylinders.  I replaced the o-rings in the outlets for the lines and the one that seals the reservoir in the pump, refilled it with ATF, cycled the top a few times to get the air out of the lines then let it sit for a week.  No fluid appeared around the pump so I thought I had it fixed.  Then, after probably 15 more cycles of the pump I got into the trunk and noticed that there was ATF fluid under the mat again.

That lead me to believe it was the pump itself and I thought it would be best to simply replace it.  In my haste, I did not even think about looking for a rebuild kit for it.  I may rebuild my old one and keep it for a spare.

Duane,
Are you certain it was the  pump that failed and not the lines?  I don't see
how a pump can shoot fluid  all over the trunk, unless the plug fell out.  I'd
do some investigating  first, as the well material hides everything pretty
well, making diagnosing a  problem.  Let us know what it turns out to be.  I
have heard that the  pump is a cinch to rebuild, only needing some O-rings and
usually some  cleaning.  I am looking into getting material to make my own
lines.  I  have some Parker fittings and only need the proper nylon tubing to
complete the  parts list needed.
