Removing a few of the trees this weekend and installing a grounding kit on
the house, and relocating the Oldsmobile's.

I run...literally!  I was missed by a strike 2 years
ago by about 10 feet while working outside (got a huge
Oak tree and sprinkler station).  My ears started
ringing and still do.  Olds was on other side of yard,
and out of the way.  I can understand your girlfriend
