After installing a 72 tilt column in my 69 Cutlass I installed the signal arm and tilt arm. The tilt arm is not parallel to the signal arm and actually touches the signal arm. Any ideas on what the problem is? Nothing is cross thread. Has something been bent by the previous owner of the column? Is a part missing or not adjusted correctly? Any help would be appreciated.
