I thought my problems were because I put an 86 motor in an 87 car when, actually I have the wrong manual
being that the car is an 86.

if (for example) it was all ripped apart and you were trying to put it
back together I wouldn't necessarily look to the 87 manual for advice

Cut or ripped its still a PITA !! BUT I have found this to be a great learning experience for me.

Anyone on the list have an 86 Shop manual for the Custom Cruiser for sale? I figured I'd check with the list first
before I do the search.

Would there be much, if any, difference in the vacuum lines or engine compartment wiring for the 86&87 custom cruiser with the y engine and A/c? For some reason I thought it was an 87 so I bought the 87 shop manual. Turns out I have an 86.

I also went to the DMV and found out it has been dropped from system, so now it needs to be verified. they could not give me a temporary tag, because car is no longer in system. I need to get to muffler shop and smog station, kinda hard to sneak over to muffler shop with no exhaust system.

Thanks
Bill G
