Neil,

I'm trying to recall from previous list discussion, so here goes:  I believe there are Big block engine mounts and small block engine mounts, make sure you have the right ones.  The wrong ones would cause a problem in the height of the engine in the bay.  Also make sure you are using the correct set of holes in the frame.

There should be no issue one side or the other..

That is unless you discovered the mythical offset engine?!?!
