Interestingly, the Caddy STS uses no key. To open it (with the fob in your pocket) you grab the handle. It opens. When you leave the car, no need to lock it. Walk away and it automatically locks. Allegedly, (according to High Point Insurance) "the transponder on the Caddy STS is the most sophisticated system available on any American car. With it's rolling code, it is virtually impossible to start the car without a key."
Of course, a flat bed truck nullifies that statement.
