 Glad to hear that. ;-)

Me too, seems he has a 68-72 shortblock with smogger J heads in there. With
the Edelbrock intake as Dennis pointed out.

Ebay tells you never to do a wire transfer yet they haven't disallowed it
as
a form of payment. They seem to leave it up to the buyer's discretion
whether to trust the seller enough to use a wire transfer.

Ebay has an odd way of handling their own policies at times. I went round
and round with them a few months ago about a parts car auction of mine that
they kept removing. Finally they told me that the problem was that I
mentioned the car having a clear title. HUH?! Why can't a junk car have a
clear title? If the car has a title Ebay does not consider it a parts car
BECAUSE Ebay does not have a brokerage license, therefore they cannot charge
a fee based on the final sales price. That's why Ebay charges a flat $40 to
list and a $40 final value fee for the "normal" cars for sale catagory.
Ebay's customer service rep told me to relist the car, but DO NOT mention a
title. As long as I don't say that I have a clear title for any car that I
list in the parts cars catagory, I'll be ok. Otherwise, they'll shut down my
auctions and suspend my account if I persist in doing so.

So, most of the cars in the parts car catagory are being sold illegally
under Ebay's own policy if they mention having a title. Cute...can you say
Ebay doesn't want to lose the revenue from those auctions therefore they
give you a way to get around their own policy.

In PA, I have to have a title just to junk the car!! There's ways around
that too, but...

Anyways...
 It is a nice looking '72 C/S, but I don't think it's Buy-it-Now at $12,900
nice. I have a feeling it's mostly a nice paint job on a car that has been
kinda thrown together. That's what I'm seeing by the pics anyway. The
undercarriage pics make it look like a daily driver that someone gave a
paint job and slapped in a big block. A sharp looking driver or a work in
progress....atleast he's in the ballpark and not looking for $25 or $30
 grand.
