Ron,

To illustrate how autoparts stores can sometimes know nothing, when I bought
my '65 Vista Cruiser, I flew one-way to Omaha, NE, to pick her up and drive
her back. I took tools, oil, and some parts, including a set of Champion
J12YC spark plugs (AC 45S equivalent), in my suitcase. On the way back, I
stayed one night in Liberty, KS. I decided that morning to change the plugs,
due to a small miss I had noticed. You can't imagine my surprise when my
13/16 spark plug socket wouldn't fit the plug body! I drove over to a NAPA
store and got a 5/8 spark plug socket to remove the late model *****small
block Chevy tapered seat plugs***** the idiot at an Omaha autoparts store
had given the previous owner to put in his Olds. Geeeezzzz Louise! I called
the PO when I got home and suggested he not use that autoparts store ever
again. No wonder a had a little miss. It was a small compression leak.
