apologize for the delays that have been plaguing the list for
the last couple of weeks.
We have been experiencing several times the normal spam volume,
about 300,000 spams a day, and have had to buy a new server to
augment the previous 2 spam filtering machines. The situation
is stable right now, but we are monitoring the traffic.
You may have read that this is a problem afflicting the entire
internet, due to the number of computers that have been infected
with spam robots.

No, there is just no traffic on the list of late except for the usual
ebay
fraud alerts. Makes me wonder if we have come to the end of the line for
the list.
