Costco has a RedTop Optima with 20% less power for
about $120.00. I do not
recommend that battery. I would stick with the one I
mentioned. above. In
Tucson, there are only 2 places to get Optima
batteries, either Costco or 2
of the local speed shops. That means one must
install the battery themselves
or find someone willing to install it. Optima's are
normally setup for GM
battery installation, so it's a drop in for a GM.

Thanks, Milton, I will write that down on my list of
things to do. I remember the discussion about these
batteries. I don't belong to Costco any way. Maybe
Duane knows where in the big cowtown I can buy one.

A little late, perhaps, but Pep Boys carries Optima up here in DFW. Batteries Plus, too, I believe. I got mine at Pep Boys and they've replaced it under warranty twice (I have a current leak or something, and my Cutlass tends to sit a lot - I've killed two Optimas!) They have a 3-year (I think) warranty and PB has given me a new warranty with each new battery!

On digest mode, so I'm a little slow...
