Leverage Chris, it's all about leverage. :)

Leverage and semantics. If you place these on top of the rear springs it will raise the car 1" AT THE TIRES and more than 1" at the back bumper. The calculation would be something like "the distance from the front axles to the rear of the car" divided by the wheelbase multiplied by the 1" spacer. Of course it is more complicated than that because moving the back up will transfer weight to the front springs which will compress slightly more.

   Now the seller says:
"THE REAR SPACER WILL LIFT BETWEEN 1.25 TO 1.5 TIMES ACTUAL SPACER HEIGHT & SO I EVEN OUT TO 2 TIMES SPACER HEIGHT FOR THIS APPLICATION TO SIMPLIFY & HAVE A BIT OF ROOM FOR ERROR FOR DIFFERENT SITUATIONS."

Which is like saying "The price should be between $1.25 and $1.50 so I'm going to average it out to $2.00 just for you my good friend."

And I have an authentic photograph of a polar bear tracking a penguin in their natural habitat to sell you.
