Hello,

Is it possible to locate an OLPC group in Phoenix through this list?

Thanks, S

Dear olpcers,

Two quick reminders: Francesca Slade is hosting our second [weekly] Open
Jam today, from 2 to 6pm EST, at 1CC -- working on whatever open OLPC
projects people have in mind. Please bring ideas, works in progress, and
testers of all ages and sizes.

We will be clearing off a small table of broken XOs today to finish setting
up a Cambridge repair center, for those interested in seeing that process in
action, and building a little parts inventory.

Today & tomorrow we are also hosting an unconference for general grassroots
development and brainstorming; and talking about examples from successful
grassroots and international development projects. Please bring your own
stories and experiences to share, and feel free to invite friends and
colleagues involved in grassroots groups in the area. We will also be
preparing problems for attendees of the small-group bootcamp sessions this
coming week. (RSVP for the unconf, if you have not yet, so we can plan our
food runs.)

Finally, next weekend a similar event with a UNICEF focus is being hosted by
the Manhattan Neighborhood Network in New York.

SJ
