(Sorry for typo in last post; I meant to type in "you may have seen" instead of "you have seen".) There was a short mention of the xo map in the Community News Digest Vol 32, Issue 3: ------------------ Eben created a Global G1G1 GoogleMap which allows everyone to post the location of their XO. In just a few days the map has been viewed more than 41,000 times, primarily by last year's G1G1 participants who received their email thank yous. Add your XO athttp:// www.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=114558805698125207804.000001132ad0d5f3d14f8&z=0(A direct link from laptop.org will be added shortly). -------------------
I don't know the procedure for adding an XO to the map, but I made some brief instructions for adding the map to a blog: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Tell_a_friend#Add_G1G1_XO_Map_to_Blog On Thu, Nov 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>wrote: > Send Olpc-open mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/olpc-open > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of Olpc-open digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
