2nd CALL FOR PAPERS *[IEEE] RAWSN'2015: The Third International Workshop on RFID And Adaptive Wireless Sensor Networks* *To be held in conjunction with the International Conference on NETworked sYStems (NETYS’2015 ).* *May 13-15, 2015, Agadir, Morocco.* *http://www.fsdmfes.ac.ma/rawsn/ <http://www.fsdmfes.ac.ma/rawsn/>* About the workshop Adaptive mobile distributed applications require more and more tiny mobile components linked through wireless connections. In this vision we found two categories of applications using either Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) equipment’s or RFID technology. The main purpose of this workshop is to serve as a forum that brings together RFID and Wireless Sensor Networks’ researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss recent developments in RFID and WSN technologies. This workshop will provide a forum to exchange ideas, discuss solutions, and share experiences among researchers and professionals from industry and academia. Papers describing original research on both theoretical and practical aspects of Wireless Sensor Networks and RFID technologies for pervasive computing are solicited. Areas of interest include but are not limited to - Energy management in wireless Sensor networksAdaptive sensor networks - Sensor network deployment - Sensor networks with mobile elements - Cross-layer architectures - Intelligent sensor nodes, Sensor-based systems and applications - Middleware and software tools - QoS and dynamic bandwidth allocation in sensor networks, - Energy efficiency and replacement of failed sensor node, - Component generation and dynamic adaptation of the application. - Performance Evaluation and Modeling in Wireless Sensors Network and RFID - RFID and sensors software and middleware - RFID and sensors channel measurements and modeling - RFID Localization techniques and algorithms in RFID tag and reader localization - Security in mobile sensor and RFID systems: Standards, Frameworks and Protocols - Circuits for Wireless communications - Spectrum Allocation and Management - Optimization algorithms for Wireless communications - Technologies and Standards - WiFi, ZigBee, WiMax, Bluetooth - Wireless Network Protocols - Remote Sensing and Telemetry - Cyber physical systems Paper submission Papers should contain original material and not be previously published or currently submitted for consideration elsewhere. Submitted papers must not exceed 5 double-column IEEE formatted pages, including figures, tables, and references. Papers can be submitted electronically in pdf via the RAWSAN'15 interface of the EasyChair system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=rawsn2015 Important dates Paper submissions: *March 27, 2015* (24:00 GMT) (hard deadline) Acceptance notification: April 19, 2015 (24:00 GMT) Camera-Ready: April 25, 2015 (24:00 GMT)
