Applications are invited for a position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Software Engineering Research Group, Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu (http://sep.cs.ut.ee).

The position is tied to a DARPA-funded project aimed at developing methods to analyze business process models (in BPMN) with respect to privacy properties. The successful candidate will lead an effort to develop a method that takes as input process models with privacy metadata and analyzes these models to detect and quantify unintentional disclosures of private information. The project will involve extending the BPMN meta-model to capture privacy properties and extending a BPMN toolset with privacy analysis capabilities. The project brings together researchers from the fields of information security, cryptography and business process modeling, and will be conducted in cooperation with Cybernetica - a leading information security company in the Baltics.

Candidates must have a PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline. Expertise in at least one of the following topics is essential: business process modeling, software analysis or model-driven privacy and/or security analysis. Experience in developing research prototypes and working in collaborative research projects is desirable.

The position will be initially for four years. Remuneration will be in the range 2000-2500 euros/month. Estonia applies a flat income tax of 20% on salaries and provides public health insurance for employees.

The expected start date is 1 March 2016 but a later start date can be negotiated.

The deadline for applications is 4 January 2016. The application procedure is outlined in the official advertisement at the University's website:
