The IEEE International Conference on Cyber Security and Resilience (IEEE
CSR) is an annual event sponsored by the IEEE Systems, Man, and
Cybernetics (SMC) Society.
Description and scope
The technological and industrial revolution brought by complex
/cyber-physical systems/ (CPS) comes with new threats and cyber-attacks
that exploit their inherent complexity and heterogeneity. These attacks
have a significant negative impact on the operation of various services
in critical sectors, like energy, transport, and communications, which
provide the vital functions that our societies depend upon.
The conference focuses on theoretical and practical aspects of the
security, privacy, trust, and resilience of networks, systems, and
services as well as novel ways for dealing with vulnerabilities and
mitigation of sophisticated cyber-attacks.
Topics of interest
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit previously unpublished
contributions from a broad range of topics, which include but are not

Submission guidelines
The IEEE CSR 2025 conference will accept high-quality regular research
papers, Systematization of Knowledge (SoK) papers, and industrial papers.
Submitted manuscripts should not exceed 6 pages (plus 2 extra pages,
being subject to overlength page charges) and should be of sufficient
depth and detail to be evaluated by expert reviewers in the field. The
conference proceedings will be published by IEEE and will be included in
IEEE Xplore.
The authors of selected accepted papers will be invited to submit an
extended version to special issues of an international peer-review
journal, depending on the availability of a post-publication agreement.
