Hi All, Here's my report regarding my 2014 Specification items. I hope it will save some time at the meeting.
1. Provide a method for download and installation of the DVD libraries (libdvdcss). The vote on Loomio was in favour of keeping libdvdcss in the restricted repo. Some information about it's availability will be placed in the Release Notes. 2. Update libmobiledevice to latest version to support ios7 I was working from memory when I wrote this and got it wrong this should be changed to the latest ifuse to support ios7 "Trust" dialog else it is not possible to use an Apple device as an external modem. 3. Update Gimp to latest version. In progress Completion 2% 4. Additional automated interface for Bugzilla. No Change Xu_R has been away on hols work will resume soon. A proposal by bero to allow packages of both architectures to be voted simultaneously will be implemented Completion 80% 5. Better support to allow the finding and grouping of "Publish to QA" Packages. This item is considered to be complete with the introduction of Kahinah Completion 100% 6. Use ABF's maintainers db with OMV bugzilla to auto assign bugs to maintainers Thanks to avokhim who has been very proactive with regard to the abi for for this feature. In discussion with itchka it has been decided to generate an CSV file containing the necessary data required by Bugzilla to implement this functionality. The abi interface for fetching this file is now in place. A problem arose with the mainatiners data since it only contained two names (those that imported the packages initially). It was therefore decided to examine the commit data in order to gain a more realistic view of who had taken charge of the package. No work has been done on the Bugzilla interface as yet. Completion around 25% 7. Provide a simple "HOWTO" explaining in easy way how submit bugs and provide useable information Not started. itchka will progress over coming week. Completion 0% 8. Add to the release notes a list of major features that are not yet provided (eg for 2013: UEFI, installation of grub2 on root partition, ...) Not yet started. This should be prepared closer to the release date when we are sure of what will be missing.
