I do agree,
we felt this quite hard during FISL, mainly when people asked us in how to 
start.
Besides a basic TODO list for beginners, we could create something like a 
"mentoring project"
as Mageia Community or even Linux Kernel dudes has. It could help on modelling 
new packagers and developers
and push them closer to OMV pattern.
