I agree a mentoring program would be great.  A place where people can learn
what we do without discouraging remarks etc. When I was young when seeking
help there were many times I ran into cocky individuals and felt with rude
comments from them.  And I know our community is beyond that so we could
make a great mentoring program. It should start with well written wiki
pages on getting started and references to our packaging p&p.
