It should be updated automatically during every build.

In this log one can see that urpmi failed to update perl-urpm (to be more particular, it failed to fetch metadata for cooker/release:

http://abf.rosalinux.ru/downloads/cooker/repository/x86_64/main
...
...retrieving failed: curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
...retrieving failed: curl failed: exited with 22

problem reading synthesis file of medium "main"

So it should be enough to just relaunch the build.

Not long ago I've pushed a patch for mdv-scripts to restart builds in case when such metadata problem arises during the build itself:
https://abf.io/abf/mdv-scripts/blob/lxc/build-packages/build.sh#L267

Likely we should do the same thing for chroot initialization:

https://abf.io/abf/mdv-scripts/blob/lxc/startup-vm/startup.sh

Hi -

Is perl-URPM updated on all ABF worker nodes? I ran into the "line
buffer is too large" problem trying to build a package for i586...
