PAE is needed only for 32bit system, and allows to get them the full
memory beyond 4GB on 32bit systems. PAE is enabled just installing one
of the nicco kernel, where there is the word "pae": e.g.

kernel-VERSION-nrjQL-realtime-pae

at every stage of enabling a bigger memory support (eg. > 1GB, > 4GB,
etc.) on 32bit, you get a bit slowing down than previous stage. On 64bit
system you don't need PAE, as they can address all the memory without
pagination.
